Changing how recovery happens
Turning a fresh start into a lasting future
The Second Story Foundation develops programs, partnerships, and resources that help people build stable, productive lives. Our work focuses on housing, employment, community support, and long-term pathways to independence.
Housing that creates stability
Stable housing provides the foundation for progress. Through recovery housing and transitional living opportunities, individuals have the time and structure needed to rebuild their lives and prepare for greater independence.
Work that builds momentum
Employment creates routine, responsibility, and opportunity. Workforce partnerships, job placement, vocational experiences, and practical skill development help individuals strengthen their economic future and reconnect with their communities.
Community support that lasts
Long-term success is strengthened by connection. Peer support, mentorship, community partnerships, and ongoing engagement help individuals build relationships that support growth and personal accountability.
Programs designed for the long term
The Foundation invests in solutions that address the challenges people face after treatment, during major life transitions, and while rebuilding stability. The 2nd Story Ranch Recovery Home and Jobs Program is one example of this work, bringing housing, employment, and community support together in a single environment.
